During this time of year, many of us become concerned about our health--especially our weight. If you’ve had a day of eating more than you wanted or exercising less than you wanted, try and shift your focus to the next day. “Kicking yourself when you’re down” never helps any of us, but it can be especially detrimental when trying to accomplish a challenging goal. Discouragement can develop, tempting some to throw in the towel. Know that good days and bad days will come and go. All efforts are a work in progress.
